MRO Manager

Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Acts as the corporate leader of the Company maintenance strategies and be responsible to support all manufacturing facilities in improving maintenance techniques based on TPM and fundamental Maintenance effectiveness
  • Works with the Plant Maintenance Managers to refine, implement and manage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and fundamental maintenance practices such as planning and scheduling, lubrication, equipment classification, preventive and predictive maintenance, and spare parts management
  • Supports manufacturing plants by establishing shared maintenance standards and specifications consistent with best practices that reduce manufacturing costs through improved maintenance methods, inventory optimization, and asset contract and warranty management
  • Delivers capability building plans for skill development in the maintenance organization
  • Leads Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) on new and in-place equipment
  • Identifies and implement equipment modifications to improve efficiencies and reliability; and work with maintenance and production personnel to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems
  • Develops plans for the location stockrooms to best maintain all maintenance and operating inventory, including critical spares, to minimize downtime, optimize space, and reduce related expenses across the Company
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software)/EAM (Enterprise Asset Management Software)
    • Maintains site asset and location data for accurate work management and cost reporting, and manage intercompany transfers, moves, and decommissioning of assets, locations, and inventory
    • Administers inventory and purchasing best practices at each of the manufacturing plants to support corporate TPM objectives and ensure the CMMS transactions are accurate, complete and reliable for data analysis
    • Administers catalogs of items, inventory, service, and tool items used by the manufacturing plants within the EAM software
    • Works with facilities to develop and constantly maintain "Critical Spare Parts" list to be shared and visible to all locations
    • Works with Safety, Environmental and Risk Management Leader and Plant Safety Managers to implement and manage Safety Plans within the EAM system as part of standard preventive maintenance practices
    • Creates templates and processes that support plant downtime maintenance planning and scheduling to maximize plant effectiveness
  • Delivers training to maintenance staff on advanced maintenance techniques
  • Conducts plant visits to perform gap analysis, coach site teams, and create alignment as well as identify and share benchmarking opportunities with all plants
  • Executes long-range maintenance strategies for critical pieces of equipment including utilities and facilities equipment
  • Supports the maintenance capital plan of the Company
  • Other duties as assigned by management
